A lot of people say they wax, but how much do they really wax? You should take the time to find a place that specializes in waxing. It should be ALL they do! How good could someone be at waxing if they only do 1 or 2 waxes a week along with a whole myriad of other services? At Beach Body Wax our estheticians do anywhere from 10-20 waxes per day! The result is a much quicker, more experienced wax that hurts much less.

Some salons cut costs by reusing wax sticks and not cleaning the way they should. You should NEVER, EVER go to a salon that double dips. It doesn’t matter if you are getting your brows waxed or your brazilian, your esthetician should never use the same stick twice. Doing so allows all sorts of bacteria to grow (seriously, that is really disgusting). All the instruments should be disinfected between each appointment, and the table should be sterilized after every client.

Make sure your esthetician is licensed to wax. In Utah, there are 2 different kinds of estheticians. The first is the basic esthetician. They can do basic waxing such as eyebrows and arms. For more advanced waxing like the brazilian, your waxer needs to have have more school and training and become a master esthetician. It is important to always check.

Find someone that you trust. It will make a world of difference in your waxing appointments. It should be something to look forward to, not dread!
